    Nuu ("Nuu") is committed to managing your personal data securely and in accordance with applicable regulations. Below you will find information about how we handle personal data collected from users of our website, customers, job applicants, suppliers, partners, and other users of our services and features (the "data subjects"). Nuu is the data controller for the personal data we process. Please feel free to contact us if you have questions regarding our processing of personal data.   2. Personal Data Collected and Processed

    We collect data to provide information about our services and to respond to inquiries from users and others. We also collect data as part of our agreements with customers, job applicants, and suppliers through our recruitment platform. This processing is governed by data processing agreements with each customer, and applicants provide consent by logging into their profile on nuu.no. We process the following personal data in this context: name, position, company, email address, phone number, address, and other information provided in inquiries or required to follow up on inquiries or perform activities or services.

    The legal basis for processing is GDPR Article 6(1)(a) (consent) and (b) (contract). Providing us with your personal data is voluntary, but if we do not receive the necessary information, we may be unable to respond to your inquiries or offer you our services.

    We use cookies on our website. Cookies are primarily used to measure traffic and optimize our service. We also use cookies on our social media presence. When you visit our social media pages, those platforms collect personal data to compile statistics. Nuu does not have access to the personal data collected but receives anonymized statistics prepared by the social media platform based on the data collected.

    We will not process personal data for marketing purposes unless we have obtained consent or there is an existing customer relationship. You may at any time withdraw consent to receive marketing communications by emailing us (see contact information in section 8 below) or unsubscribing via a link in our newsletters and invitations.

  3. Use of Data Processors

    In some cases, we may transfer personal data to our partners and suppliers, such as IT service providers. These recipients process personal data on our behalf and only in accordance with our instructions.

    We will not disclose your personal data to others unless there is a legal basis for such disclosure. Typical legal grounds would be an agreement with you, your consent, or a legal requirement that permits or obliges us to disclose the information.     • Receive personal data you provided to Nuu and transfer it to another data controller without interference from Nuu.
    • Object to the processing of your personal data.
    • Lodge a complaint about processing with the supervisory authority (in Norway: Datatilsynet).
    • Withdraw any consent provided to Nuu at any time.

    Nuu does not use automated decision-making, including profiling.

  7. Changes to Our Privacy Policy

    This privacy policy was last updated on November 9, 2024. We reserve the right to make changes periodically and encourage you to review the policy regularly.

  8. Privacy Policy - Google API

    Nuu will store users' email and calendar event data to perform CRUD operations (create, read, update, and delete) on events. This enables employees to send job interview invitations to applicants, who can accept or decline these invitations.

    Nuu’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to other apps will comply with Google’s user data policy for API services, including the limited-use requirements.
