Foodflirt AS is the ownership company of restaurants ASIA, Frenchie Solli plass and Frenchie Frognerparken. Behind Foodflirt is Drueklasen, a company that have started and established several successful restaurants: Olivia, Åpenbar and Druen. We have long experience from the restaurant industry and are very active and engaged in the restaurants.
Working in our restaurants we always want to ensure you have a good and rewarding work environment. We strive to be the preferred employer in the restaurant industry and have established internal programs to enhance our employees’ health and offer the best possibilities to develop within the company.
In October 2014 ASIA opened its doors at Aker Brygge. One of Oslo’s largest restaurants, with 600 seats during summer season. We serve Asian inspired food, tempting and exotic dishes made for sharing, or enjoy yourself. ASIA is leading in the restaurant industry on our sustainability work and is certified Environmental Lighthouse and recognized by the United Nations Climate Neutral Now initiative.
Frenchie Solli plass opened in August 2020 and has already been established as a very popular local bistro in the area and in the restaurant scene in Oslo. Frenchie is a “Boundless bistro” where we play with flavors, ingredients, and interior to create a lively ambience for guests and employees. The restaurant includes 110 seats inside and over 100 outside during summer season.
Frenchie Frognerparken opened its doors on may the 9th this year and is our newest add on in our frenchie family. Its a "boundless bistro" like the one on solli plass with 200 seats inside and over 120 outside.
Sustainability
In all our restaurants we have a great passion to treat our environment and surroundings with great care and to always strive to be as sustainable as possible. This is reflected in our choice of suppliers, products and how we prepare and serve our food and drinks. We want to avoid and reduce waste, reduce our carbon footprint, and offer food that have been produced in a responsible way. All our dishes are labeled with their carbon footprint, as a part of being transparent and offer information on our products. At all restaurants we also offer a great selection of plant based options.
