We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Rig Manager to join our onshore Team.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Hold overall responsibility for the management and performance of the assigned rig.
Ensure rig operations comply with all relevant rules, regulations, safety and quality standards, maintenance protocols, contractual obligations, and budgetary constraints.
Oversee rig move preparations and coordinate meetings to ensure safe and efficient relocation.
Oversee all onshore logistics related to the rig, including equipment, personnel, and supply chain.
Attend Client meetings and follow up 3rd party requirements for the rig.
Monitor operational activities to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
Continuously drive organizational development, process improvements, and performance enhancement initiatives across the rig team.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree Petroleum Engineering, Drilling Engineering, or a related field, or relevant industry experience.
A minimum of five years of experience in the oil and gas sector, with a strong emphasis on drilling operations.
Proven leadership abilities, with excellent communication skills to effectively engage with multidisciplinary and diverse teams.
Comprehensive knowledge of drilling procedures, equipment, and industry-standard safety protocols.
Proficiency in software and tools commonly used in drilling operations.
Demonstrated experience in operations within Norwegian waters as well as in international environments.
Fluency in both English and Scandinavian languages, spoken and written.
